Cloud Sync

By default, the journal database is stored locally on your device only. You are able synchronize your Diarium data across devices using the Diarium Cloud Sync feature. The data transfer is done using the official APIs of the respective Cloud services. We do not have access to your Cloud Storage or your database. Please note that the third-party Cloud services that are being used for the Diarium Cloud Sync have their own Privacy Policy about handling data.

Feeds & Events

You can connect to other services in the "Feeds & Events" section to enrich your journal with data. The communication to those services is using their official APIs and SSL, meaning all communication is sent encrypted over the internet. We do not publish any data on your behalf, Diarium only displays your existing data from those services in the app.

When enabled in the app settings, Diarium does access your daily step count and sleep data to display it in your journal entries. Diarium does not share your health data with other parties or use it for other purposes.
